It is amazing that China invests so much money into training camps and have scouts that go throughout the country to find talent, yet they win less medals than the US. In the US, parents have to shell out thousands of dollars for their kids for training in sports, and most won’t play beyond high school. In sports like soccer or basketball, many won’t even get to play in high school. Even though only a small percentage of Americans get the opportunity to play an Olympic sport, America still has no problem finding talent across this country. It is impressive if you think about it
