I watched that event, and while the media and everyone around her was congratulating Chiles, they completely ignored the poor Romanian girl who suddenly had her bronze medal ripped away from her. Other than her coaches, I didn’t see anyone come to console her or any of the Americans recognize that she was robbed of the bronze medal. She was absolutely devastated and I felt just horrible for her. Fuck the Olympics.
