I personally thought Jarrett Culver would be something after watching his run in 2019 Marxh Madness but i was so wrong.

When was the last time anyone was hyped up because of a march madness performance? Feel like the last was Curry.

Ja Morant only went to the second round, but he went insane for those games. He postered a Marquette player and had a triple double.

Ja morant. Believe he almost got a triple double against a Marquette team as 12 seed in the infamous 5v12 match up. Marquette was really hyped too because they had a hyper scorer in Howard

I really think that hyped him up for an NFL shot more than anything

also culver wasn’t even good in March Madness lmao this post is just weird.

Pre-tournament he was mocked like 4-6. After the tournament he went 6th, it didn’t bump his stock

That feels unfair to Carsen Edwards. He was sick for the whole season. He had some good games in March, including of course the Virginia game, but that all looked like an extension of his production during the season.

He didn’t work out in the NBA cuz he’s like 5’10" and needs the ball in his hands to do anything productive at all

Hard to say he had a streaky run, he was national player of the year. He just didn’t have a build that translated to the NBA…negative wingspan differential made him a tweener even at 6’11"

I will never forget NBA 2k that year- you play against Kaminsky and Wisconsin in the beginning of the story mode. I was thinking I would need to make sure they couldn’t control the post, but then Sam Fucking Dekker shows up like White Lebron and styles on everyone.

Saw a study one time that purported that a NCAA hot streak was actually a decent indicator of NBA success. Definitely not ironclad or anything but not negligible either.

Khalid El-Amin. I thought he was going to be the next Isiah Thomas.
