What are some your favourite moments and least favourite moments of this year’s olympics? There were so many controversies that happened this year and I want to know if there was a moment that was everyone’s favourite!

Personally, Tom winning a silver on his last Olympic Games was really emotional for me. Especially since his sons were there to witness it.

Least favorite moment was all the negativity surrounding the Australian breakdancer. One or two memes were okay. Everything afterward felt like middle school and not in the Olympic spirit at all.

One of the many favorite moments was the support from the crowds for the female marathon runner from Bhutan (Kinzang Lhamo), who crossed the finish line after 4 hours. Also the cheering for Leon Marchand every time he came up for air. And let’s not forget the opening ceremony, which was a great spectacle to watch on TV! Overall I loved the incredibly photogenic settings, from volleyball under the Eiffel Tower, to fencing in the Grand Palais, just absolutely gorgeous!

    Favorite: Quincy Hall’s gold.

Least Favorite: How they kept cutting away from the opening ceremony’s boats to hear random commentators’ opinions whenever a country they deemed as not being important enough showed up.

Least favorite: all the armchair/mobile phone athletes and their (negative) opinions (of course entitled to unfortunately).

Favorite (Other than the sporting events): the aesthetics of the venues; historical context of the host country; smaller countries medaling, opening and closing ceremonies (it was amazing I ignored the social media bots), Last but definitely not least the mascot Les Phryge!
