Love watching her run races. She hangs out in the back of the pack until it’s go time at the end. Her sense of when the person she’s following is about to fall off and she needs to move up slightly is impeccable.

She’s the best and so kind! She won bronze in the 5K, but right after the race, the second-place finisher, Kipyegon, was disqualified. Hassans first reaction was, ‘Oh no, that’s such a shame. I’m sorry. She deserved the silver medal.’ She was apologizing that she took the second spot.

(The Kenian union had succesfully take a protest and Kipyegon got her silver medal.)
