“It’s easiest to coach Nikola Jokić. He’s a simple guy, dedicated to the team and basketball. If he decides to play, he’s 100% committed-- before, during, and after practice. He’s ready to communicate, has vast experience… The same goes for Bogdanović and Micić; these are all players with a wealth of experience. They’ve been coached by the best. Of course, their attitudes, suggestions, and feedback are taken into account, and decisions are made afterward. It’s important for the players to know who the most important person is, and that’s the coach, and that they follow what he asks of them. However, the coach shouldn’t be above the team. When you strike a balance, that’s part of good cooperation and success. We’ve managed to create that balance.”

I would personally highlight this as well:

“This was the greatest Olympic basketball tournament of all time. Not only is this the best American team ever. I’m not comparing it to the 1992 team-- I know very well the value of that team. That was a different era of basketball. Basketball has become a global sport like football. Everything that’s happening today and what happened at the World Cup… People say America wasn’t motivated. Those are words from those who don’t understand the essence. Basketball outside of America has advanced tremendously. European basketball has come close to American basketball.”
