Just argued with a coworker over Jordan and LeBron. I’m getting tired of it, honestly it could go either way but I lean slightly towards LeBron. Anyway the guy says, “LeBron can never win in big situations” and “Jordan has more rings” back to back, which pisses me off. So, Jordan fans, let’s add context.

In 2007, LeBron got stomped by a top 3 team ever and his team was dogshit. Frankly, it’s a miracle that the 2007 Cavs were even in the Finals.

2011: Completely LeBron’s fault, probably the biggest superstar meltdown in sports history.

2014: Once again he had to face that top 3 ever Spurs team, this time with Kawhi. LeBron was by far the best player on the court.

2015: LeBron has no help once again (what’s new). Kevin Love’s shoulder got murdered and Kyrie’s kneecap seemingly exploded out of nowhere. LeBron still averaged a bonkers 35.8/13.3/8.8 but ended up losing in 6. In games 2, 5, and 6 in particular, LeBron went NUCLEAR, combining for an average of 37/16/10.3.

2017: He had to face the greatest basketball team ever created. But there’s a twist!.. he had no help. LeBron averaged an INSANE 33.6/12/10. This is the only time any player has ever averaged a triple double in the Finals (what’s crazy is, his 2015 showcase is arguably better). You’d be inclined to think “Man, his team probably swept their opponent”… they lost in 5. After LeBron viciously railed the Warriors the previous year in the Finals, they went and cried to the third best player in the league to join them. That team was so stacked that KD was a luxury instead of a necessity. The Warriors had to build the greatest team EVER just to halt one man, LeBron James. I don’t think some of you realize how fucking wild that is. Just to have a CHANCE at beating prime LeBron, you had to have a championship caliber team, or just one of the greatest teams ever assembled. If not, then too bad cuz he’s dropping 45/12/12 on you and there’s nothing you can do to stop him.

2018: He had to face the greatest basketball team ever assembled AGAIN, but this time with even LESS help. LeBron once again played out of his mind, averaging 34/8.5/10. Wow, a near triple double! The Cavs should’ve at least took it to 6 games right…? THEY GOT SWEPT. Have you EVER seen a player averaged nearly a triple double in the Finals and get SWEPT? THAT. IS. INSANE. LeBron dropped 51/8/8 in Game 1 and lost by 10 😭. The only other player on that Cavs team that averaged more than 10 points in the Finals was a washed Kevin Love. LeBron scored a total of 136 points, more than the next two players combined (Kevin Love, JR Smith). Wild, just wild. His teammates’ shooting percentages were dogshit, as well as their 3pt percentages.

Other than rings, we can also mention how LeBron beats teams INTO championships. He shit stomped the Warriors so hard in 2016 that it forced them to sign the third best player in the league to go along with the SECOND best. This resulted in 2 rings for the Warriors. Then, he butt-fucked the Raptors so horribly in the 2018 playoffs that it sent their front office into a panic and led to the blockbuster trade for Kawhi. This resulted in the Raptors winning the 2019 Finals. LeBron stomps teams so badly that it forces their front office to take their job seriously and build a championship team in order to stop him.

LeBron also owns multiple NBA franchises. He continuously bulldozed the Pacers in the Paul George days, he ran through the Derrick Rose-led Bulls, he stomped the Celtics in the late 2000’s, and he’s been treating Toronto as his doormat for so long that people are calling them the LeBronto Raptors.

I rest my case, folks.

The only guys i’ve met that don’t acknowledge LeBron’s greatness are Kobe-zealots, and Republicans
