So… who’s going to light the torch in LA? 1984 LA stars Carl Lewis, Greg Louganis, or Joan Benoit would be my guess, but maybe it’s Michael Phelps.

Maybe not the biggest name, but the most historic.
My pick would be Lewis for the cauldron, with other '84 gold medalists such as Benoit (also possible cauldron), Louganis, Edwin Moses, Mary Lou Retton, and Michael Jordan as runners in the stadium
