RE: Noah Lyles feeling insulted by Adidas inviting him to Anthony Edwards shoe release event. “Damn I thought this was Centel”

For those of you not on twitter, “NBACentral” is the biggest NBA news aggregator on twitter. They are constantly “going viral” for posting NBA/Basketball related news, quotes, and clips.

“Centel” is a meme page that is made to look like Central but is used to post fake and satirical quotes and news it’s absolutely absurd stuff that people somehow fall for all the time, causing these fake news posts to go viral.

Brunson is essentially saying that Noah’s opinion is so ridiculous, that he can’t even believe that it’s a real quote.

Victory lap for those of us that called him salty from the start. It was obvious.

Brunson on Nike’s payroll now. Gotta defend bball culture for the brand. Adidas got the shine and daddy/agent say you can tweet.

This whole company owning people has turned weird. I love ypu JB but this is not your lane.

NBA players constantly say that the NBA is a fraternity/brotherhood. Maybe just maybe… Brunson is defending one of his brothers? Does that not make more sense than your conspiracy that Nike sent Brunson as a sleeper agent to defend an Adidas guy……?

This sub is so sensitive when it comes to Noah Lyles. That comment about Edwards was from a year ago and he basically said he respected Edwards but was disappointed with Adidas. Plenty of athletes have said the same stuff and it’s cool but people get angry when it’s Lyles.

Why does this dumbass have a vendetta against the entire NBA? Did an NBA player (or players) bang this dude’s chick in front of him?

His childish attitude reeks of jealousy and insecurity 😂

Noah Lyles seems very cocky. I get it, he’s the fastest guy in the world rn, but doesn’t hurt to still be humble. Also track and field is notorious for high barrier to entry for sponsors and endorsements, but I do think he deserves them. Just going about it the wrong way imo.

The problem with Lyles is that he thinks having the ‘fastest man’ title gives him more value as a human being. In reality, he’s just an asshole who can run fast in a straight line.

Lyles was 10 minutes away from winning JOTY, then Serbia blew the 4th quarter.

When Noah Lyle’s does it he’s cocky and a loser but when Jordan and Kobe do it it’s Mamba Mentality and Killer Mentality

C’mon guys…He probably didn’t want to go cause he has Covid. Just looking out for everyone of course. It only does away when he’s running. He was running so fast in the 200m that covid went away but 20 seconds but it came back whenever he got 3rd.

Can’t imagine how he’s going to feel after getting postered by the NBA community.
