In baseball, hitting .400 is near impossible in today’s day and age. It has not been done since 1943, 81+ years ago. However, it was fairly common before that period. What is the NBA equivalent feat of having a percentage this efficient that it’s near impossible to accomplish in today’s day and age? But it was doable back in the day?
Averaging 50pts per game
Dribbling without palming the ball.
Probably the 50/40/90 club while also averaging 25+ ppg
The equivalent statistic isn’t going to be a shooting percentage, because basketball players have become more efficient with time.
I agree with the 20+ RPG suggestion. It was something elite rebounders could achieve back when the pace was higher and guys were missing more shots, but it’s essentially impossible in the modern era.
