I understand the hate towards israel these days. I do. The whole situation sucks. But that shouldn’t cloud judges in olympic games. Where it’s about giving israeli less than deserved, or giving another more than should to prevent israeli a medal. There is an acumulation of cases, and it is getting more and more obvious.
Again, I understand where the hate comes from, But while competing under the olympic flag and fire, the purity of the sport should be kept. It was always like that. Once politics enter the games it will be ruined for ever. next games no one will believe scoring is legit. Once corrupted - always corrupted.
I’m not sure to which sport/situation you are referring to, by it reminds me of Russians when Israeli Linoy won in rhythmic gymnastic.
They had the same reaction, saying that judgement was unfair and political.
Obviously to Israel it wasn’t the case and everything was fair.
My point is, are you sure things are being unfair to Israel? Or is it just your reaction because you are invested in it because it involves representatives of your country?

…Don’t tell me you don’t understand how international competitions work! Politics have been a heavy presence in the olympic games for a very long time now and it is naïve to act as though that were not the case until now.

Israel shouldn’t have been allowed to compete. Russia was penalized for war so should Israel and any other country currently waging aggression wars
