KD has played 16 seasons in the NBA, has 14 all-star selections, 11 All-NBA selections (6x first-team, 5 time 2nd-team), 11 top 10 MVP finishes, has averaged 20+ points for 16 seasons, 25+ points for 15 straight seasons, 25/5/5 for 8 seasons, and has nearly 29K points. He’s also been to 4x Olympics and is on the verge of having 4 gold medals, along with being team USA’s all-time leading scorer by over 150 points.

How good is his longevity historically compared to other players?

Massively underrated due to LeBron’s dominance but it’ll be start to be recognized more once we see him avg 25+ at the age of 38 lol

Great, especially considering he came back from what is normally a career ending injury.

It’s pretty good. But sadly he’s made out of glass and doesn’t contribute to winning basketball like he used to

    Underrated because of LeBron.

The fact that he still scores as much as he does on godly efficiency is incredible.

And he still contributes well in other areas too, it’s not like he’s just a scorer.

It’s just like Brady. Guys have had insane careers on their own in between the years he was active.

Like Joakim Noah is considered a legend and homie was drafted 4 years after lebron and last played 4 years ago

His longevity is insane considering he was mvp caliber at around age 20. Most superstars can’t say that. He’s been him since before the 2010s

Lebron, KD, and Steph. Those trio have great longevities.

They have better Longevity than the trio of MJ, Larry, and Magic. Due to a variety of reasons:, Advanced Medicine, Science Technology, more nutritious foods, etc.

He gets a high grade on the fact that he tore his Achilles, and changed his game to be a better player after it. KD doesn’t go inside the The paint nearly as much as he used to. But he also has developed his mid-range jumper to higher levels than it was before the Achilles. He’s a fantastic example of somebody changing their game to stay dominant

I think 36 is the new 32-33 due to medical advancements.

KD came back from an injury that ends the typical NBA player’s (all star & under ) career, & still put up a 50-40-90 in the playoffs while maintaining 25ppg+. Safe to say he could play till the same age LeBron would be when he retires

Extremely underrated because of the freak of nature that is Lebron and his decision to join a super team (which Lebron did as well).

Tired of people sleeping on KD. This man was the most unstoppable scorer in the NBA for a long time, you could still argue his ability to get a basket is second to none

One of the greatest of all-time but in the shadow of LeBron
