I think MLB should be called out more so than NBA. I typically just hear the phrase NBA Champs, while MLB has the balls to call themselves “World Series”.

If there is a basketball team that wants to dispute their title they could propose an exhibition match against said champions. Even if it’s nonserious, anything less than a blowout is embarrassing for the world champions. No team on earth is beating the NBA champ of any given year

I mean when you beat the best players in the world…
