If the choice was for a single season and not looking out for the future who are you taking? Wemby finished 2nd in DPOY voting this past season with a worse supporting cast compared to Embiid who had defenders like Melton, Oubre, and Harris. Wemby has shown the ability to become a 3 level scoring threat with the ability to pass the ball. Embiid hasn’t been healthy for a post season in half a decade.

    I’m taking Wemby. At least he’ll play games and I genuinely think we’re about to see a leap from him. Embiid is injury prone and on the wrong side of thirty now. Players his size typically flame out early so give me the younger dude who is bare minimum the greatest prospect of this generation.

    Cmon… Embiid. Obviously wemby is great but Embiid is a top 5 guy, one of the leagues best offensive hubs while also being a stellar defender.

    Wembanyama. Embiid will get injured again for sure. Maybe Wembanyama will too, but I’ll take my chances.
