The Lakers are currently looking to contend so the two untouchable cornerstones are LeBron and AD.

These guys would only be in trade discussions if somehow Jokic, Luka, Wemby, Giannis, SGA and other elite top 5-10 players became available which is obviously unrealistic. So in all realistic scenarios, LeBron and AD are untouchable.

Reaves is another player the Lakers would be very relcutant to trade but would definitely be open if a legit superstar became available. Players at the caliber and above of players such as Lauri, Mitchell and Siakam. Players of these caliber are very unlilelh to be available but not completely impossible.

The Lakers could potentially make a compelling offer for Lauri if they were willing to go all in for him.

Everyone else is easily available in general trade talks with D’lo, Rui, Vando, Christie, Knecht, Hayes, Wood, Reddish, Max Lewis and others.

Obviously teams would not want to trade for Bronny in particular but he could be used as salary filler to help facilitate a deal.

However, he is untouchable because LeBron would be furious and likely request a trade or walk in next years free agency if the Lakers traded Bronny.

This means that in all realistic scenarios, LeBron, AD and Bronny are the only players on the Lakers teams that would not be entertained in trade discussions.

    This is making me wonder what’s the price that would convince LeBron to approve a trade that sends Bronny out the door.

    What if the Bucks went insane and offered Giannis for Bronny straight up? Would LeBron turn down the ability to play with his son in exchange for becoming the favorite for a championship???
