In the era that this was happening how crazy was this for you? Did Carmelo really want him traded?

Has there been anything as wild as this in pro sports since?

It was also right after the Tebow run in the NFL so I really don’t remember anything like this happening since where an under radar/obscure player becomes one of the best player in the sport for a few weeks.

    Melo for sure disliked the attention lin got.

    Tj warren going off in the bubble is a good indicator bubble had tons of fluke to it

    Melo really did take it personally. And let’s not pretend as if most NBA players back then don’t feel the same.

    And Asian guy randomly pops and puts up All-Star numbers for a stretch, which by itself is impressive but definitely not unheard of, yet the media is celebrating him like the second coming of Jordan because of his skin color.
