Why is it that people at r/nba never use the word “fewer”? A lot of times, it’s more appropriate than the word “less”.

LeBron didn’t grab 2 less rebounds than Anthony Davis. He grabbed 2 fewer rebounds. Rob Pelinka didn’t make less trades this summer. He made fewer trades this summer. Tatum didn’t receive less votes for Finals MVP than Brown. He received fewer votes for Finals MVP than Brown.

I’m going to go shake my fist at the clouds now.
