I’m new to NBA, and I was just curious who is the equivalent to Neymar? Someone who was extremely talented but never reached that high.
Neymar is often called The Prince that never became King.
Is there someone like that in the NBA history?

    Joel Embiid resembles Neymar for, even though he has a great career in general terms, failed to reach the stars he could had.

    Going back a little, perhaps Patrick Ewing? He was among the most hyped #1 picks ever, and he was definitely great, but he could never quite carry his team to the top.

    Or Chris Webber. Absolutely insane levels of talent, but injuries and attitude slowed down his career.

    chris paul. always choked on the way to a championship. Unquestionably an all-time great point guard, just couldn’t get it done championship wise for a variety of reasons
