Remember when Ayton was touted as the next Patrick Ewing/David Robinson of the modern Nba?

Obviously, he doesnt met expectations. And now he is shipped to Portland.

However, The trail blazers still pick one of Top Center draft prospects in Donovan Clingan this recent draft.

Do you think Clingan will be a better player than Deandre Ayton?

Or maybe they will do 2 Big Men lineup like Minny?

But for comparison purposes, can you see Clingan being a better Big Man than Deandre Ayton is now?

    There’s a sliding scale from David Robinson to Michael Olowokandi. Everyone on that scale has astounding physical attributes, but the Robinson end is optimal mentality and the Olowokandi end is “I happen to be tall - how can I monetize this”. Ayton is on that scale, sadly nearer the Olowokandi end than the Robinson end.
