I was curious about whether NBA players could benefit from having left-handed players, similar to how soccer/football wingers tend to favour one-side of the pitch. Eg, left-backs tend to be left-footed and right-backs tend to be right footed. I was interested in looking into whether having a left-handed shooter in the left-corner has a higher probability of making a 3 etc.

Left handed players, across almost all sports, are statistically better on average because others typically have to modify their defence to defend them.
