Westbrook put up 26/7/11 on 40.5/32.4/82.9 shooting splits
Kd put up 28.4/7/3.3 on 43/28/89 shooting splits
Both were terrible in the last few games vs the warriors. I’d say the extra playmaking gives russ the edge. Although kd was better on defense, rim protection in particular. But most of the thunders rim protection came from Adams and ibaka so I’d say Russ playmaking was more important.
russ’s playmaking is only going to get you so far, I’m sorry to say it. their best chance at winning at title, in my opinion, was taking russ off main play making duties & using him more as a utility/shooting guard/low post menace like tatum was this year. he just doesn’t have the iq to get you over the hump. i do think KD completely disappeared the last few games though & if he just had even one monster game, they’re going back to the finals
