South Sudan is still fighting many wars within but its impressive the could field such a good basketball team.
People continue to ignore Team USA’s weakness. They don’t have a true PG. It’s one on one basketball with the USA players being older. Trae Young and Jalen Brunson are needed.
South Sudan played amazing .
Big props to them . But man is this iteration of USA basketball embarrassing
South Sudan fam lol
Embiid shut down every single pick and roll in the 3rd/4th and had incredible screens for Curry, +15 in a 1 point win so can we finally stop asking why he’s starting? Clearly the best center on the team
I feel like Team USA should consider having Steph handle the ball more than just playing strictly off the ball. The saying is he’s most difficult to guard when he’s off the ball but the team needs more chemistry for that. Run some Steph pick and rolls with Lebron being the Draymond here.
Today, USA fans finally get a taste of what Lakers fans have been dealing with every game for the last season.
Please fire Steve Kerr. His rotstions are a mess.
The USA is trying to be small on a big man’s game. This will be their downfall.
After all that dennis shroeder just saw a crack in this usa game…he coming
Good thing for the war and genocide if they were still one country might have been a blowout, silver lining
If th US lost they should have been thrown out of the Olympics
The average r/nba user would rather believe literal all stars/champions are frauds than to admit they almost got fucking outplayed lol
Wonder what Joel thinks of Lebron now?
Fr that was one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time. Shout out to South Sudan, they were fucking incredible tonight. Obviously as an American I have some concerns after this and the Australia game, but it’s hard to tell how much of it is from us not being at our best and how much of it is a country that’s part of an ever expanding pool of international talent having a really good night in a game where the U.S. didn’t. At the end of the day, this is a great time for the sport and I’m glad I’m here to witness it.
