Why do you think it is that Steve Kerr named his first born son Nick? I am interested to hear everyone’s thoughts.

Some of you are probably thinking well is his name actually Nick Kerr? I guess it is possible it’s “Nicholas” on his birth certificate but everywhere I look his name is Nick. And who wants to go by Nicholas anyways it’s a child’s name.

It is all the more surprising considering Steve seems like a pretty progressive thinker. Being a public supporter of BLM and critic of former Republican President Donald Trump on more than one occasion. It’s almost incomprehensible that he didn’t make the phonetic connection that poses so many problems however. So I am not sure. What do you all think was the reason for the name?
