From todays Lowe Post. Zach Lowe said that if you polled 100 execs it would probably be 65-35 Banchero. Who are y’all rocking with on this?

All I’ll say is that one entered the league as a highly touted prospect who played for Duke and the other was seen as a role player low floor defensive guy who was never the go to star in either high school or college

I think Banchero is the better player right now but the fact that Scottie is in the convo is amazing imo

I’m surprised this is even a discussion. Scottie Barnes fits on a high level championship team better Paolo. Barnes has more robust skill sets on both sides of the ball.

When I watch the Magic, Paolo doesn’t even appear to be the best player. Wagner looks to be more impactful from a winning perspective.

I think some people are impressed by some of Paolo’s raw scoring numbers. However, his true shooting % is about 55% (tied for 269th). That’s like Cade Cunningham. Who is a pretty inefficient scorer. Paolo’s PER is 17.49 (80th). Again, close to Cade Cunningham (not a bad player, but also not a great scorer).

I don’t find much value in low-efficiency volume scorers. Unless, he makes some great leaps on defense, I can’t see how he fits on a championship level team.

No way. Paulo’s shot creation is miles ahead of Scottie. That shit takes years to learn. It’s by far the most important ability in the playoffs.
