I had this stupid thought and since it’s the off-season i figured why not. Could a player ask for a contract that stipulates he gets paid way more when he plays in Texas or Florida to help avoid state taxes? Like if they have a 20 mill a year contract, when they play miami that game check would be for 19 million. And then when they played anywhere else they got a game check for like 10k.
I’m guessing its probably written in the CBA that they have to be paid per game equally or something to that effect.
