    I dont think this is just price gouging like everyone is making it out to be. I think it’d a part of it but there’s other factors. Wnba teams are now all flying on charter flights. Remember the outrage about Clark’s rookie salary vs wembayama? They gotta make up that difference somehow if you want the league to increase the salaries. I think they are trying to grow the league now that theres heightened interest

    Some Mercury fans received clearer explanations for their price change. Two season-ticket holders tell FOS they received a follow-up email explaining their several-thousand-dollar increases were due to their seats gaining club access. One was able to switch to new seats in their current price range, while the other is trying to do the same. They say they’ve seen other Mercury fans post about price increases in higher sections and courtside.

    This seems totally reasonable, meaning that “WNBA teams” here are just one singular team (Chicago)
