I personally think Reed is already way better. He has a Steph Curry level ceiling though he will probably have to leave the Rockets to reach it as they are prioritizing guys like Jalen Green over him

Scoot was very disappointing. Bad finisher, bad shooter, turnover prone and not that athletic. He’s probably a smaller Eric Bledsoe in the NBA

How do you know the Rockets are prioritizing Green over Shepard? Reed hasn’t played in a single game yet to know that.

By the fact he’s still on the roster

If Houston was serious they would sell high

Reed is a good defender the same way Iverson was a good defender

Reed may be very well be a better player than Steph in his first 4 years but if he can ever reach >2013 steph levels that will be quite the achievement.

Now this is actually a thought provoking thread.

I would pick Reed given his ludicrous advanced stats profile and shooting, but I think a lot of what happened with Scoot last season was an awful situation and he still has a lot of potential.
