He has the frame to bully his way to the basket the same way Giannis is able to, or he could work on his midrange like Embiid has. But he is consistently terrible on that side despite being given so many minutes because of his defence. Why has he not improved on the other side of the floor when he has all the tools to be on the level of Embiid?

    Because it’s far, far harder than anyone not in the NBA thinks to get to a level where you can reliably score against NBA defenses. Almost all these guys can rain shots down at a 100% clip in practice but the second they step onto the court that rate plummets. Now imagine adding in something like footwork and dribbling and physical contact - it’s fucking hard to score in the NBA.
