    This obviously isn’t an easy situation for Redick, so what exactly would you like him to say?

    Instead of saying he earned the opportunity, would you prefer him to say that he was drafted to do Lebron a favor and he doesn’t deserve to be in the league? Instead of finding a player to compare him to and paint him as somebody they want to develop, would you prefer him to say that he’s on a hot dog vendor trajectory?

    The media is going to keep asking these types of questions and he has to say something. If he avoids the question, it’s going to look bad. If he dogs Bronny, it’s going to look bad for him as a coach and the organization as a whole. Answering the questions in a positive way is his best option, even if we all know it’s almost certainly not true.

    I swear, this sub white knights over players so fucking hard the first scent they get of a coach or exec criticizing them, treating them as an asset, etc. If Redick came out and said anything negative or neutral, these same people would be calling for his head.
