At 22 years old, Ant averaged 28-7-7 and two blocks/steals a game on 48-40-80 shooting splits (this includes an awful three-game stretch against the Nuggets/Mavs where he shot a combined 17 of 57) in the playoffs as the #1 option on a conference finals team.

Every year, he’s continued to improve his game and seems to elevate his game even further during the playoffs. He’s quickly established himself as one of the best two-way guards in basketball and a high level clutch shot maker at all three levels, while gradually increasing his playmaking abilities.

There are a lot of elite players in the NBA that can lead their team on a great playoff run. Of those players, only a small portion are ultimately able to break through to that next level where they’re good enough to lead their team to a championship.

Do you think Ant has shown enough at this point in his career to believe that his career trajectory will eventually put him in that tier of players that are good enough to be the uncontestedly best player on a championship team?

Yes, he is so young and improving. With more experience, he and the team will have a good chance.
