Right now Tatum son is 6 and Tatum is 26, so Tatum would have to play at least 13 more seasons. It sounds crazy but the thought of Bronny playing with Lebron in 2010 (Lebron was 26, Bronny was 6) would have been a crazy idea back then. Out of all NBA stars, I think Tatum has the best chance to play with his son after Lebron
Zero. Absolutely zero. This is the dumbest question ever. The likelihood of any 6 year old making the NBA is pretty close to zero.
It’s as close to zero as it could be, but it technically isn’t absolutely zero.
Jayson Tatum would have to play in the NBA until he’s 39, and Deuce would have to be NBA ready at 19, which is certainly improbable, but not necessarily impossible.
Zero
Also some team would have to be crazy desperate to want to keep a 39 year old Jayson Tatum content enough to draft his son. The whole situation is just unlikely to ever happen again.
Or that Deuce is a very good prospect that it justifies a draft selection and Jayson is a 39 year old on a team that is not very good, and Jayson stays in the league and doesn’t just outright retire
Overall, I’m more likely to own the Boston Celtics.
Clearly it isn’t ”absolutely zero”?
It is. How many players play until 40? How many players’ kids make the league? Tatum is nowhere close to the level of Lebron, he won’t be playing at 40 and it is extremely unlikely that his kid would make it to the nba. Zero chance of this happening.
You don’t seem to understand how probabilities work
When you have a dad who can give you a spot it’s exponentially higher.
Oh yea? Cuz it happens all the time, huh? There’s been thousands of NBA players, they all play with their kids, right?
No . When your dad is LeBron James and you’re a sought after enough high school prospect then the chances go up exponentially higher. It’s not as if any NBA player can their son a roster spot.
You think Tatum will be that good at basketball 10-15 years from now that they’ll give him an extra roster spot out of goodwill? 0 chance
