All players have good and bad match ups, and this includes superstars. For example, Shaq got cooked by Hakeem and Rick Smits. AD seems to hate being guarded by Draymond, but Embiid does very well against Draymond. Gobert gets pocketed by Jokic.
What are some interesting match ups that you guys know about, maybe for your team or for your favorite player? As a Warriors fan, I remember Iguodala for some reason would do very well against Dame. Curry would do very good against Jrue Holiday, but he always used to struggle against Avery Bradley for some reason.
I don’t agree that Embiid does necessarily well against Dray. I guess it depends on the season.
The struggles Dame has against Jrue seem to never apply to Steph lol.
Steph from 2015 to 2022 seemed to have a personal vendetta against the clippers. It didn’t matter who was on the team lol. He also saw red everytime Austin Rivers was around.
I also remember Al locking Embiid so bad that they signed him that one year lol.
Steph and dame play two completely different games. Steph doesn’t even run the offense when he doesn’t want to. Drag becomes the PG and Steph runs around. Dame hasn’t had the option to give up the ball until playing with Giannis
