All players have good and bad match ups, and this includes superstars. For example, Shaq got cooked by Hakeem and Rick Smits. AD seems to hate being guarded by Draymond, but Embiid does very well against Draymond. Gobert gets pocketed by Jokic.
What are some interesting match ups that you guys know about, maybe for your team or for your favorite player? As a Warriors fan, I remember Iguodala for some reason would do very well against Dame. Curry would do very good against Jrue Holiday, but he always used to struggle against Avery Bradley for some reason.
Dwight was a better player than Yao, but Dwight would get owned by Yao everytime they played each other.
Yao didnt even get to reach his prime tho. He never had a decline. Yaos highest level of play imo id take over dwight and seeing progressing good chance yaos prime woulda been better. I guess maybe similar with dwight and back but indount it. His skills were never going to develope. Yao year by year was very impressive the gains. Year 1 yao was so hard to watch. Like a weaker shawn bradley forced to try and score every possession
