All I see is summer league. Maybe G-league but that’s 1 tier. In the MLB we have like 6 levels of development and they are extremely extensive and fleshed out. It’s like every little detail is developed in a baseball player.

I mean surely Bronny would benefit from a multi-tier NBA development program. Imagine if he just changed a few mechanics. He would be a godly 40% shooter ya know. I mean Aaron Judge back in the minor leagues was pretty bad but somehow developed into one of the best of the best.

Rosters are smaller than MLB and seasons are shorter. The G League is pretty effective as it is. Many organizations have their NBA rotations filled with quite a few G Leaguers. Grizz, alone, have promoted Jake Larravia, GG Jackson, Vince Williams, Santi Aldama, and Jon Konchar to full roster contracts. Not to mention several players that ended up on other teams. The 2 way deal is a pretty decent pipeline for end of bench guys to get enough playing time in the G League to earn main roster contracts.

Another layer seems unnecessary, right now.
