    Difference here is that the player can just quit and walk away with the $50k or however much. If you try to do that with a payday loan someone breaks your kneecaps with a steel pipe

      yeah honestly having a total cap of 125 k makes it seem less blatantly a scam plus the company is going to be a lot more invested in finding ways to make money on the NIL

      for the player to make 125 k over 7 years they would need 18k per year and if that is your NIL deal the guaranteed money probably is looking pretty nice

        thats a pretty pessimistic way of saying they have a non-exclusive license to sell merchandise with your name and likeness. if you have a problem with that u have a problem with selling jerseys.
