That’s how bad his offense really is. An average (!!) shooting guard in today’s NBA has a higher true shooting percentage than Jordan. Let alone talking about good or even great shooting guards.

Last year, only the seven worst NBA teams had an even worse true shooting percentage than Jordan’s career true shooting at 56,9%:

The best 10 scorers last season all had at least 63% true shooting if not significantly higher.

So lets face it: In today’s NBA, Jordan is complete trash. End of story. He could perhaps get a few minutes as a decent defender though, but please dont give hin the ball on offense.

    Career TS+ of 106. That got dragged down by the last two years in WAS. He was above league-average (usually well above league-average) every other season except his 2nd year, just below at 99, and the partial season when he came back from baseball.
