“Pettynym” is an arbitrary term I came up with meaning, “a derisive nickname, usually a mean pun on the person’s name.”

The most famous one is probably Russell Westbrick (honestly kinda clever), but there’s also all-timers like LeBum (not clever at all but oh-so-petty), Anthony Day-to-Dayvis, Pandemic P or Wayoff P (vs. Playoff P).

I posted this a little while ago and it seemed like we were having fun, but mods asked me to post again in the off-season, so here we go!
