Not every roster has camp invites yet and/or signed two way players. So for skme teams it’s correct for some trans it’s incorrect. The best time to confirm team salaries is just before the season starts.
Thank you for the info. I would like to know one more thing if you don’t mind. As I understand cap hold is the amount that counts towards the cal until the team either renounces the bird rights or re-signs them. Why do some teams have players that haven’t played in years under the cap hold?
The graph isn’t fully correct.
The source of your data includes camp invites who’ll be cut before the season starts and won’t count towards the cap on final rosters.
Also, not all salaries count towards the cap e.g. Two way players.
But it’s cool visualisation.
I just checked a couple of rosters I knew and thought it was correct. Thank you for the feedback.

I would try Sports Trac NBA: https://www.spotrac.com/nba/cap/_/year/2024/sort/cap_maximum_space
They have rankings of teams based on salaries and also based on cap which aren’t necessarily the same.
