    It’s no big deal.

    Breakdancing was a demonstration sport, picked by the hosts so both the sport can get exposure and IOC can test it out for further events. Breakdancing was fun apart from this Raygun controversy but it doesn’t connect with the Olympic spirit too well.

    LA28 will have lacrosse, flag football, squash, cricket and baseball/softball as demostration sports. India and Pakistan will invest all for cricket mark my words.

      I like the idea of demonstration sports. I honestly can’t fathom why France didn’t try to push for Parkour running as a sport though.

        IOC usually don’t like sports that take too long, tennis is probably the longest Olympic sport and that takes around 5 hours if it’s too tight. 3 hours is the average fro T20 Cricket but maybe it can work, let’s see.

          Olympic tennis matches only require 2 sets won per match, so they are usually over within a couple of hours.
