Wemby going to the Spurs. Definitely would have been a thing, especially with the soul box situation. Maybe Pop had his soul back so he sacrificed it to the gods for the Wemby pick.

Preseason trade drama, particularly Dame going to Milwaukee.

The losing streak bowl. If I remember right, the Pistons and Wizards played when they were tied for last with awful losing streaks and potentially historical bad records. Seems ripe for content.

Celtics cursing the eastern conference with injuries. Obviously IRL this was just luck and debatable how much it mattered, but in GoZs I imagine it would be the work of a sorcerer or something.
